Ant-Man (2015) |
The Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man and Wasp just signed Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari as co-writers. So, it's a good time to check out some more amazing concept art from the first film. I did an interview with the brilliant Andy Park about working on the film earlier in the year. Recently, he released some more concept art on his Twitter account AndyParkArt for Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) aka Yellowjacket.
Park is a professional concept artist who's worked on Hollywood movies like Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013), Thor: The Dark World(2013) and Iron Man 3(2013).

At Comic-Con, Stoll said the suit is "the next generation of Ant-Man's suit" with a sleeker, more militaristic look as "if Apple had designed a battle suit." We can see some of the many design ideas that got the suit that way.
"More Yellowjacket concepts I did for the Ant-Man film." Andy said, "Tried walking on stilts idea for unique movements" He also said that he tried to "contrast" Ant-Man's costume.
