The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 (2015) - Lizard Mutts
Check out The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 (2015) concept art by Jared Krichevsky!

The last chapter of the Hunger Games films ruled the weekend making over $51.6 million in the U.S. In the movie Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and her team are attacked by Mutts (short for "Muttations") that are different from how the book describes them. One of the skilled artists, Jared Krichevsky, shared some artwork on his Facebook page of what they almost looked like.

Jared Krichevsky is a professional concept artist who's worked on Hollywood films like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), Edge of Tomorrow (2014) and The Wolverine (2013).

In the book the lizard mutts are described this way:

"They are white, four-limbed, about the size of a full-grown human, but that’s where the comparisons stop. Naked, with long reptilian tails, arched backs, and heads that jut forward. They swarm over the Peacekeepers, living and dead, clamp on to their necks with their mouths and rip off the helmeted heads. Apparently, having a Capitol pedigree is as useless here as it was in 13. It seems to take only seconds before the Peacekeepers are decapitated. The mutts fall to their bellies and skitter toward us on all fours."

"Some development work I did for the last movie in the series," Krichevsky said, "The prompt was for [an] eyeless subterranean lizard to take on Katnisssss and crew. The final design ended up in a different direction, and was designed by the talented Luca Nemolato."

Here's what they look like in the film
