Fantastic Four (2015)
Check out Fantastic Four concept art by Fausto De Martini!

Josh Trank's Fantastic Four is one of the biggest box office bombs this year and the director blames the studio for it's failure. He implied in a tweet that the studio cuts lots of things that would have made his film great. We may never know the whole story, but we now can see what two elements cut from the film could have looked like. Concept artist Fausto De Martini posted on his Facebook page some of the unused concept art from the film.

Fausto De Martini is a professional concept illustrator who's worked on big budget films like Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) and the RoboCop (2014) remake.

According to Entertainment Weekly the robot and car were cut by the studio. ComicBook.com reports, "By all accounts, Trank dove in with zeal, devising plans that combined playful comic-book elements of the Marvel Comics characters with the darker, almost [horror like] tone that made Chronicle so bracing. The director had a healthy relationship with Emma Watts, Fox's president of production, who has a reputation for aggressive handling of filmmakers. But Trank may have been too enthusiastic, constantly throwing new and bigger ideas into the mix and changing his own mind about major plot points, like the kids of powers Doctor Doom should possess. Watts turned up her nose at geeky elements, like adding the squad's flying car or comic-relief robot H.E.R.B.I.E. She deemed Trank's ideas too scattered; he felt she wasn't getting it."

Fantasticar

The Fantasticar is a flying vehicle that Mister Fantastic made to fly the team around. It first showed up in Fantastic Four #3 back in 1962 and made an appearance in the 2007 movie Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. It has the same homemade feel that Reed Richard's containment suit has meaning he was probably supposed to have built it by himself.

The car was actually built and filmed, but was cut from the final version. Here's what it looked like

Here's what it looked like in the comics and the previous film

H.E.R.B.I.E.

H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-type, Integrated Electronics) is a robot that first appeared in 1978 Fantastic Four animated series and was integrated into the comics. It even made a cameo in the extended cut of the 2005 Fantastic Four film.
