Check out Captain America: The Winter Soldierconcept art by Tim Flattery!

Captain America 2 has some amazing visuals and many redesigned vehicles. Literally the biggest vehicle in the film are the next-gen Helicarriers that are part of "Project Insight". They became the largest CGI model ever made by Industrial Light and Magic.

The new Helicarrier is almost 25 percent larger than the one in Captain America: It measures 1,400 feet long and 830 feet from wingtip to wingtip. ILM visual F/X supervisor Russell Earl told Popular Mechanics, "It's got the big guns on the deck, the superweapon, and the underbelly surveillance hub, where the Cap and Winter Soldier fight takes place. The brothers [directors Anthony and Joe Russo] wanted everything to be grounded in a reality, even if it was technology that we don't necessarily have. We did 90 percent modern and 10 percent World War II." Earl said they spent a year building out the carrier.

One of the artists that helped create the look of the film was Tim Flattery. Flattery is a professional concept artist who's worked on big budget movies like RoboCop (2014), Back to the Future Part II(1989) andIncredible Hulk (2008).

Official Captain America: The Winter SoldierSummary
