Check out Terminator Salvationconcept art by Victor James Martinez!
There were a lot of rumors if Arnold Schwarzenegger would have a cameo in the fourth Terminator movie. He did appear briefly as the T-800 android using CGI. Using the magic of CGI he looked exactly the same as he did in 1983 thanks to a life mask created for the first film by Stan Winston Studios. John Rosengrant, the animatronics and special makeup effects supervisor for Terminator Salvation said, "We dug out our original cast from the first Terminator movie, and created a new, cleaned-up, properly textured life-size bust." They also used extensive reference photos of Schwarzenegger from 1983 for the finer details like the eyebrows and skin tone. Unfortunately, despite the amount of love and work involved, the result left audiences unhappy. But, it might have been a more powerful look if designs by artists like Victor James Martinez had been used.
Martinez is a professional concept artist who's worked on big budget movies like Real Steel(2011), Avatar (2009)and Transformers (2007).
